"Michael…who   standeth  for…thy  people," —  Dan. 12:1-12
David Bawden was born in Oklahoma City on September 22, 1959 and baptized on October 18 in Christ the King Catholic Church by the pastor, Fr. Johnson.  He lived in that parish until 1963, when his family moved close to Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City.
In order to allow for more pictures, this biography has been split into several subsections:
1. The life of David Bawden from September 22, 1959 until July 16, 1990
David Bawden took a stand on Traditionalism at the end of 1983.  In 1985, he reviewed the position that Traditionalists lack authority to act within the Catholic Church, which can be found in Jurisdiction, During the Great Apostasy.
2. The actual Papal Election effort.
On September 8, 1987 David received a letter from a friend, pointing out that the Vatican Council infallibly teaches that Peter will have a pepetual line of successors in the Papacy until the end of time.  Having already learned that Wojtyla was a heretiCal usurper, David immediately began working toward ending the interregnum.
3. The life of Pope Michael
Upon accepting the terrible cross of the Papacy, Pope Michael's exile began.  It began at first in Saint Marys, Kansas, and then in October of 1993 was moved to Delia, Kansas, where the Pope works to spread the truth.
Please check out Pope Michael's Decrees, Encyclicals and his ebook Truth Is One, which summarize the current condition of the Catholic Church.  The Statement drawn up in 1992 should also be consulted.
4. Press coverage of the Pope.
The morning of the Papal Election, Anita Holiday of The St. Marys Star called Kennett Bawden to ask him what was going on.  She had heard rumors of the election.  Kennett promised to let her know the outcome of the election.  From there the other press became aware and several articles appeared and the news of the election went world-wide on the international news wires.  Remember this is before the day of the internet and instant communication.
