"Michael…who   standeth  for…thy  people," —  Dan. 12:1-12
This article contains several inaccuracies.  First of all ballots were not distributed, although every sede vacantist in Radko Jansky's Traditionalist Directory received a copy of Will the Catholic Church Survive the Twentieth Century?   Many sede vacantists were contacted personally by either Teresa Benns, David Bawden, Nicolas Hettinga, Ken Mock, Benjamin Dryden, Daniel Leonardi and others in regard to a Papal Election in the years preceding 1990.  Ironically the only two Papal Election supporters to actually came to the election were Benns, Bawden, Mock and Hempel, although all those indicating support were notified of the Papal Election, including one by internation phone call and two more by express mail overseas.  Ken Mock came with the ex-CMRI priest Patrick Henry in order to try and stop the election, although he had no ecclesiastical reason why the election should not continue.  Thomas Hempel came an hour late with his two sons, although one of the sons had driven to visit the Bawdens about a year earlier, so they should have been well aware of the travel time required.
