Letter from Aldolpho Zamora to Luis Vezelis OFM
Excellency,
Our God frees us by the separation from the consequences of those dominating bishops, Carmona and Bravo.
On the 21st of February, when we met in the hotel near the Cathedral of Mexico, the catholic bishops, inorder to resolve the case of my definitive separation from the UNION CATOLICA TRENTO (Catholic Union of Trent) I spoke at length about your spiritual assistance every Sunday in your room at the social meeting we had in Mexico City, even to the point of mentioning the principle members of the said Union who happen to be laymen who intend to usurp the jurisdiction of the bishops and to attempt to settle disputes. Bishop Martinez and myself did not question why those laymen were permitted to enter the room and to speak on an equal footing with the bishops, but Bishop Martinez and myself retreated, leaving the room in which Carmona and Bravo were in.
After Bishop Martinez and myself left the room, they decided with the laymen that because of this act we were suspended without any notification, for this fault Martinez and myself were prohibited from offering the Mass at the Union of Trent as well as in Mexico and Guadalajara; for this reason they have been speaking very badly about us.
Bishop Martinez and myself (Zamora) went to Mons’ Carmona to ask him why he let the laymen from the Union speak regarding church affairs; why was everyone placed on the same level when as a bishop I should be able to speak to the other bishops about those things concerning canonical teachings. The response: “You don’t question me about Trento.” We haven’t spoken since he said this.
We request that this situation about Trento be told in the United States: that Trento is controlled by (Marrano) Jews and Masons. Whether the Masons have an actual right touches my being a bishop as to whether or not I as a bishop should exercise my power over them as a spiritual director. Ever since my episcopal consecration of two years ago, I have not been officially recognized as a bishop. Now I do not know if I am a bishop.
Ignatius Anacleto, who is President of the Union, orders me to act against my episcopal powers, but personally this doesn’t prove anything. Two other accusations are made against me by the Union, accusing me before Mons’ Carmona of having committed a very grave fault in the celebration of holy Mass. Other calumnies concern faults made in the Liturgy of the Catholic Mass.
Ademas and Mr. Anacleto repeatedly raise their voices against me about the people who want to enter the Union without consulting whether the priests and the bishops approves of the manner in which the Union gets its members. In view of this I have my strongest doubts about the reasoning of Mr. Ing. Anacleto.
In another matter, I always accept at the Masses which I celebrate all kinds of people including masons and jews whoa re my friends.
Alarmed by these accusations of Mr. Anacleto, I investigated and concluded that those who direct the Union Catolica Trento claim everybody is the child of the jews, especially in the case of Mons’ Carmona. I renounce all this. Against my foolish position Mons. Carmona responded: “You don’t question me about Trento”, because you (*Zamora) are a Jew and besides this so is everyong in Trento a Jews.
Concerning these denunciations which have been leveld against we catholics, we publicly announced, bishop Martinez and myself in EL UNVERSAL, a daily Mexican paper, denounced a list the masons who have infiltrated under the surface the Union Catholica Trento de Mejico, openly manifest not only in the homes of the principle directors of this plot, but also the others who have been discovered by the law.
