APRIL 18 (15) TESTIMONY ON SIRI FROM TODAYS CATHOLIC WORLD
David Hobson, who runs Todays Catholic World and several other pro-Siri sites has presented some new information. He publishes a statement by Fr. Lawrence Brey with his own comments interspersed. Please follow the link to Fr. Brey's statement, the other statements will be addressed here. [Siri] termed Vatican II "the greatest mistake in history" -From the book, The Unelected Pope; Giuseppe Siri, Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church (1993), by Benny Lai, pp. 296-297.Note: this closes the case, since Popes are elected, an unelected pope is an oxymoron, similar to a square circle, therefore an unelected pope is no pope. Next to hiding his claim to the Papacy from the Church, Siri's most deadly mistake was his participation in the bogus Second Vatican Council and his signature to its poisonous decrees. It should be noted, however, that Siri's signature was not rendered in his official capacity as Pope but was written simply as "Giuseppe Cardinal Siri", and was undoubtedly coerced. Note: Traditionalists hold to the heresy that the Pope can become a heretic as a private person and remain Pope. This is the position of Lefebvre, so liked by Tran Van Khoat, the only eye witness to Siri's alleged claim to be Pope. There have been reports that "Siri" would privately take the soon-to-be-priest(s) to the sacristy after the "public ceremony", and then truly ordain them in the Traditional rite. (Editor's note: like most things presented by Traditionalists, there is not one of these priests who has provided a notarized document proving this was indeed true!) Note, the use of an invalid rite in the administration of the Sacraments is the mortal sin of sacrilege. Hobson, by admitting the New Rite to be invalid, invalidates his newly found sponsoring Thuc Bishop, since Ngo-Dihn Thuc used the New Rite in his consecrations of des Lauriers, Carmona and Zamora. David Bawden and his PR woman Mrs. Theresa Benns are very anti-Siri. Interesting enough, a Mr. Silvio Mattacchione, who is a documented Judaizer, and who has been working hand-and-hand with Hutton Gibson for at least the last six months, to attack the Pope Siri Reality- disseminated via email recently, writings of the cartoon "pope's" PR lady (Mrs. Benn's) to numerous Catholics, as part of his (Mattacchione's) overall dark campaign to defame a True Pope, His Excellency Gregory XVII.
• 8. Some of the loudest criticisms and rejections of Siri today come from certain ULTRA-hardline traditionalists, in many cases of the kooky variety. An example of the latter is a certain Mrs. Theresa Benns and a certain young David Bawden, who not only are much anti-Siri, but are staging and calling for a "conclave" as early as Holy Week, including mostly lay people as electors, to elect a pope (maybe Bawden or Benns!) A recent book, Can the Catholic Church Survive the 21st Century is authored by Mrs. Benns, probably with David’s collaboration, under the byline of T. Stanfield Benns [Mrs. Theresa Stanfield Benns]. Such a Kangaroo Konkclave (with apologies to the Australian K-Kars), would, of course, be a farce, and a laughing stock, and would bring discredit even on bona fide traditionalists and could even redound unfavorably on the Siri Project. [NOTE: subsequently to the original writing of this paragraph in early Spring, that "conclave" finally took place, in July, I believe, and David Bawden was elected "Pope Michael I," in Kansas].
Let us take the calumnies in order:
1. David Bawden received a Real Estate license from the State of Kansas in August of 1988, which expired in 1989. As a layman this was certainly a reasonable pursuit.2. Teresa Stanfill Benns name is misspelled. Also Teresa Benns is not a PR woman for Pope Michael, although she does maintain her own websites in support of the Pope and the Catholic Church.3. The Vatican In Exile has no information to prove that Mr. Sivlio Mattacchione is a Judaizer. Even if this were true (and no proof has ever been produced), this does not discredit his evidence. This is a matter of ridicule. 4. The Siri proposition is not a reality, and no evidence has been presented which even makes it a valid proposition.6. The title of the book is wrong. Fr. Lawrence Brey who wrote the ten points, but not the commentary was sent a copy of Will the Catholic Church Survive the Twentieth Century? His lack of comment directly to the authors or the publisher shows dishonesty on Brey's part. It is possible Brey wrote Can the Catholic Church Survive the 20th Century?, but it is most probably that David Hobson amended the title to make it appear as if the Papal Election has occurred without consideration of the Siri claim. 7.
