David Hobson

David Hobson is operator of In Today's Catholic World.
On April 18, 2006, he published a calumnious statement against the Roman Pontiff as well as a new defense of the Siri Papacy, which does more to prove its invalidity that anything published in its favor to date.  (After being requested, Hobson has removed the calumny.)

Mr. Hobson among many others has published a condemned version of the Secret of La Salette, and uses it to prove his proposition that Siri was Pope Gregory XVII.

Mr. Hobson ridicules his enemies, such as the claims that Mr. Mattachione is a tool do the Jewish Conspiracy, which has no foundation in fact. He has also ridiculed the Pope.  Pope Michael contacted Hobson on several occasions and presented him with information that should have been investigated, including that which discounts Tran Van Khoat's credibility.  Despite traveling to Port Arthur where the information could either be verified or refuted, no action was taken to investigate it.  This alone shows the dishonesty of Mr. Hobson.

Lucio Mascarenhas addresses the calumnies of April 18 by Hobson

Hobson reports that the New Rite of Ordination is invalid in May.  In the same issue he omits the lawful institution of the Feast of Saint Joesph the Workman by Pope Pius XII, which is common among sede vacantists and proves that they are schismatics for refusing to obey the lawful order of a true Pope
Hobson is now visiting with Tran Van Khoat to celebrate Siri's 100th birthday, which is a pagan and Protestant custom.  Rather they should have prayed for Siri's soul on the anniversary of his death, although celebrating a Mass for a notorious heretic is forbidden by Canon Law.

Despite the conference given by Tran Van Khoat on Siri's birthday, Hobson has yet to publish the promised transcript.

Hutton Gibson reports that Fr. Lawrence Brey has not held the Siri position for nine years. Gibson also confirms the vacilations of Tran Van Khoat.

Fr. Lawrence Brey has asked for his ten points in favor of Siri to be removed from Hobson's site.

Mr. Hobson has even threatened to sue several people, including Pope Michael.

Fr. Khoat in Group Photo (he is pictured on the 2nd row, first shown, going from left to right) in 1981.
There are several comments on this picture.  First of all this picture was trimmed in order to remove David Bawden and published in the February Angelus, although Bawden did not resign from the SSPX until March 5, 1981.
Second, Hobson must accept the New Rite as valid, since Mr. Stark was ordained in 1970 in the New Rite of Ordination.
This Hobson must also accept the Lefebvre ordinations as valid, since he lists the various SSPX priests as Fr., such as Bolduc, Collins, Finnegan, Lefebvre and Babinet
