Unity Octave
That they all may be one as Thou, Father, in Me, and I in Thee; that they also may be onein Us; that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me.
V/ I say unto thee, that thou art Peter;
R/ And upon this Rock I will build My Church.
V/ Let us pray.  Lord Jesus Christ, Who saidst utno Thine apostles; Peace Ileave with you, My peace I give unto you; regard notour sins, but the faith of Thy Church, and grant unto her that ppeace and unity which are agreeable to Thy will. Who livest andreignest, God forever and ever.  R/ Amen.

Note to meditate on:
The Roman Catechism tells us: "That this visible head is necessary to establish and preserve unity in the Church is the unanimous accord of the Fathers." This therefore is infallibly true, according to the teachings of the Council of Trent.
