V/ I say to thee, that thou art Peter,
R/ and upon this rock I will build My Church.
V/ Let us pray. Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst say to Thine Apostles: peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, look not upon my sins, but upon the faith of Thy Church; and vouchsafe unto her that peace and unity which is agreeable to Thy will: Who livest and reignest God forever and ever. R/ Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary. Raccolta #607, 3 years; Plenary under the usual conditions when this prayer has been said devoutly every day for a month.
O God, the Shepherd and Ruler of all Thy faithful people, mercifully look upon Thy servant Michael, whom Thou has chosen as the chief Shepherd to preside over Thy Church; grant him, we beseech Thee, so to edify, both by word and example, those over whom he has charge, that he may attain unto everlasting life, together with the flock committed unto him. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Raccolta #609, 3 years indulgence; Plenary under the usual conditions when this prayer has been said devoutly every day for a month.
Most Holy Trinity, we adore Thee and through Mary we implore Thee. Give unto mankind unity in the faith and courage faithfully to confess it.
My God, make us to be of one mind in the truth and of one heart in charity.
The faithful who devoutly assist at any of the religious services held every year, on a day dedicated to the Sovereign Pontiff, either to celebrate solemnly the praises of the Roman Pontiff and to call to mind the countless benefits which he has bestowed upon the whole world, or to give thinks to God for the preservation of the life of the supreme Ruler of the Church and at the same time to obtain from Almighty God the help he need sin ruling the Church, exposed as she is to so many dangers, may gain: An indulgence of 10 years, if a prayer for the intentions of his Holiness is added; A plenary indulgence, if in addition they go to confession, receive Holy Communion and pray for the intentions of the Pope. Raccolta #606
The intentions of the Supreme Pontiff are: the exaltation of Holy Mother Church, the extirpation (overcoming) of heresies, propagation of the Faith, the conversion of sinners and peace among Christian nations. Unless specific prayers are prescribed for the Pope's intentions, any vocal prayers may be used.
Our duties towards the Supreme Pontiff are these: We are bound to obey him in spiritual matters, to be loyal to him, to respect his authority, and by prayers and offerings assist him in the arduous duties of his office. (Spirago and Clarke)
