Dear friends,
One of the main factors has been the interference of various heretics, such as members of the Modernist Pog Church of Vatican II. Other heretics include the old-Catholics and the Traditionalists.
Hence St. Bonaventure says that in the Mass God manifests to us all the love that He has borne us, and includes in it, as in a compendium, all His benefits. On this account the Devil has always endeavored to abolish the Mass throughout the world by means of heretics, making them the precursors of Antichrist who, before all things, will endeavor to abolish, and in fact will, in punishment for the sins of men, succeed in abolishing the Holy Sacrifice of the Altar, according to the prediction of Daniel: “And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice because of sins." Saint Alphonsus.
When the interference of the heretics became obvious, one of Our advisors observed that if the Devil would put out this much effort to take away the Mass, and has succeeded, he would place just as much effort to prevent the restoration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, using the same means, that is heretics! God is permitting them some success at the moment for our own benefit.
It is appropriate that this question should be raised now, during the holy season of Lent, when the Divine Office is filled with prophesies that We believe fit the very times we all are living in.
Between the porch and the altar the priests the Lord's ministers shall weep, and shall say: Spare, O Lord, spare thy people: and give not thy inheritance to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them. Why should they say among the nations: Where is their God? (Joel 2:17, little chapter at Vespers) We have previously stated that We believe that We are between the porch and the altar, as Pope. By Our election We have been called to the priesthood, but have been unable to be ordained, which places us between the porch and the altar. True, We left the ranks of the laity, when We became Pope, becoming head of the Catholic Church and of the hierarchy and thus de facto a cleric. (Normally men enter the clerical state by receiving tonsure legitimately in the Catholic Church, but a man becomes Pope and enters the clerical state if he is not already a member by accepting Papal Election. For this reason he is not tonsured, but ordained immediately to the priesthood and consecrated Bishop as two millennia of tradition demonstrate.)
To whom he said: Can you make the children of the bridegroom fast whilst the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them: then shall they fast in those days. (Luke 5:33-34) The Bridegroom is gone with the total cessation of the Sacrifice of the Mass, as foretold by Jesus and Daniel in Scripture. Jesus is advising us to fast, when He is gone from us.
We realized that this is a time of mourning, and yet We regularly wear the festive white that Pope Saint Pius V introduced into the papacy four centuries ago. Prior to that the Pope wore the regal purple of kings, given them by Constantine at the end of the persecutions in the fourth century. We are not told what the Popes wore prior to that. However, We have resolved to assume a black cassock at all but solemn occasions to mourn the current persecution of Antichrist until the Universal Conversion.
For now we ask all to observe Lent most carefully, fasting and praying for the needs of the Church. There are many more things, but for now let Us close with some advice from one of the Saints: Once you are dressed, before you go out of the house or do any other action, go down on your knees and take at least five minutes to adore Jesus, to thank Him and to offer yourself to Him, together with all the acts that you will do during the day, having the intention of performing them all for his glory.
Prayer for the Restoration of the Mass
The prophet Daniel prophesied, and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 9:27) And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be cast down on the ground. (Daniel 8:12) These terrible prophecies have come to pass. We long to again participate in the unbloody sacrifice of the Mass and receive Thy Body and Blood in Holy Communion. We promise to learn the truths of the Faith, which have been cast down on the ground and to turn away from sin, which has given Antichrist power against the continual sacrifice and to return to Thee, as Isaias bids us. We promise with the help of Thy grace to do all in our power to remove any obstacle in ourselves to the worthy reception of Thy Sacred Body and Blood in the Most Holy Eucharist. Until this holy day comes, when our desire can be fulfilled in participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, We desire to receive Thee spiritually, who cannot receive Thee sacramentally. Amen.
In the Prayer for the Restoration of the Mass we make several promises. (Written by Pope Michael in 1992):
1.
We promise to learn the truths of the Faith,
2.
and to turn away from sin,
3.
We promise with the help of Thy grace to do all in our power to remove any obstacle in ourselves to the worthy reception of Thy Sacred Body and Blood in the Most Holy Eucharist.
We recommend also checking out the whole section on Sanctification as a suitable preparation for Easter!
